Education is the road that follow to reach their full potential in life.
Due to covid, schools were not opened in 2020-2021 and there was no regular classes for all children adopted by FARF. But, in the current academic year 2021-2022, FARF decided to conduct the classes in villages by the school’s teacher and the trial classes are going at few villages (link).
In the academic year 2018-2019, FARF is supporting 40 poor children (22 girls and 18 boys) by enrolling these poor children in three English medium school: Y M Convent School, BPMG School and Peace Cottage School.
For the academic session 2017-2018, FARF supported 30 children through our initiative by funding their education.
Our Child Education Support programme is based on following principles:
- We act as a bridge between sponsors and school by enrolling poor children in school. Sponsors are requested to pay directly in the school. FARF volunteer team attends Teacher-parents meeting and works with parents/children for improvement.
- FARF provides performance report and feedback to sponsors.
- FARF supports school bags, shoes, water bottles/Tiffin, winter sweater etc for all supported children.
Certain updates and photos are shared at Facebook page (Link). More details of this ongoing programme can be asked from office@farf.in
